Triangle Tassel Belt Workshop
Sunday, November 22nd ~ 12:30 to 5:30
Learn how to construct a Tribal Tassel belt. You will create a one of a kind triangle belt, complete with tassels, charms and whatever your imagination can conjure up.
MAGPIE TIME — Rummage through your jewelry box and crafting bins for broken, missing or jewelry pieces you no longer use, bits and pieces of special fabrics or trims you've been saving, buttons, chains, shells, beads, leather, lace, sequins, ribbon, yarn, coins, medallions, anything blingy and shiney, fun and funky.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN —- You will learn to put the pieces and parts of your entire belt together. We will be machine sewing your belt base to get you to the point of being able to handsew your embelishments. You are welcome to bring your own machine if you prefer to sew the base yourself.
We have some yarn to donate/share for tassel making, however if you have a color scheme you will want to secure your own yarn.
POTLUCK LUNCH & AFTERNOON NOSH: Please bring homemade lunch, goodies and/or finger foods to share
