About this Event

Friday 18th - 10:00 - 3:30pm. Professional development

Join dietitian colleagues from across the state for a day of professional development and networking. Hear about research, projects and quality improvement activities across all areas of dietetic practice.


Saturday 19th - 10:00-12:30pm. Networking and farm tour

Meet us at Kiln Eatery in the scenic Huon Valley for a (free) coffee and catch-up with dietitians across the state, then join us as we make the short trip to the Judbury Salmon Hatchery. This is a rare opportunity to get an insight into the aquaculture sector, their methods and products. Huon Aquaculture Company invites you to visit their Judbury hatchery to find out about the land-based systems used to rear Atlantic Salmon, fish nutrition and health. We will be joined by a UTAS aquaculture researcher that will speak to the finer details of the nutritional benefits of seafood to human health. (You will need your own transport to- and from the venue)
