Practical Tarraxo Tuesdays · August 2026
Every Tuesday in August runs two back-to-back Tarraxo classes with a free social between them. August theme: Floor Ready — everything covered is aimed at what works on a real social floor.
Practical Tarraxo — Improvers · 19:00–20:15
The starting point. Four Tuesdays building the vocabulary you need to navigate a Tarraxo social — figures, partnering basics, and the mechanics that make things work in a real dance context. The focus is on techniques you can use immediately. Not exercises. Not theory. Moves with enough context that you understand what you're doing and why it works.
Who this is for: dancers new to Tarraxo, or who've tried it and want to build more solid foundations. A Kizomba or Urban Kiz background is useful but not required. Not for total beginners to partner dance.
La Pausa · 20:15–20:45
Thirty minutes of free social dancing between the two classes. Open to everyone in the room.
Practical Tarraxo — Intermediate · 20:45–22:00
Building on existing basics — more figures, variations, and combinations that expand what you can do on a social floor. Each session adds to your vocabulary with enough context to use it immediately, not just in class.
Who this is for: dancers with Tarraxo basics already in place — from the weekly series or a solid foundation from elsewhere. If you're unsure whether this level is right, start with Improvers and move up.
Come for one class or both. La Pausa is open to all.
Every Tuesday in August · Haven Studio · Hendrik van Wijnstraat 10, Amsterdam
Aug 4 · Aug 11 · Aug 18 · Aug 25
€45/month per class · €80/month for both
