About this Event

Tarot for the Wild Soul: Lindsay Mack in conversation with Jessica Hundley

Author and teacher Lindsay Mack will be joined by writer and cultural historian Jessica Hundley of TASCHEN’s The Library of Esoterica for a rich dialogue exploring Tarot not as a tool of prediction, but as a living system of reflection, presence, and inner knowing.

In this practice Mack offers a compassionate, trauma-informed reimagining of Tarot—one that honors each card as an ally for the present moment rather than a map of the future. Rooted in their widely beloved Soul Tarot methodology, this approach invites people to engage the cards as mirrors of our inner landscapes and as guides for healing, growth, and self-trust.

Together, Mack and Hundley will explore the deeper implications of this work, touching on symbolism, ritual, the role of intuition in times of uncertainty, and the enduring human desire to make meaning from experience.

Whether you are new to Tarot or have long walked its path, this evening offers an invitation to reconsider what it means to “know,” to listen inwardly, and to engage mystery not as something to solve, but as something to inhabit.

Tickets: $10 general admission; $38 (ticket and book bundle)

Ticket Bundle is inclusive of 1 copy of Tarot for the Wild Soul. The tarot deck is also available separately.

Jessica Hundley is an acclaimed writer, creative director, and filmmaker whose work traces the intersections of art, music, mysticism, and counterculture. With roots in cultural journalism, she has held editorial roles at Dazed & Confused and The Fader, and continues to contribute to leading publications including Vogue, Rolling Stone, and The New York Times.

As an author and curator, Hundley has published more than a dozen books, among them a celebrated biography of country-rock icon Gram Parsons, a collaborative exploration of music and meditation with filmmaker David Lynch, and a definitive visual monograph on the photography of Dennis Hopper. She is also the creator and series editor of TASCHEN’s —an international best-selling collection of encyclopedic volumes that visually chart the histories of esoteric traditions. Titles in the ongoing series include Tarot, Astrology, Plant Magick, Witchcraft, Sacred Sites, and the newest, Spirit Worlds.

The Library of Esoterica has ignited a global conversation about the transformative role of mysticism in contemporary culture—illuminating how spirituality shapes our creativity, our rituals, and our connection to the natural world. Beyond the page, Hundley regularly leads women-focused retreats, workshops, lectures, and panel discussions that explore the divine feminine, the symbolic language of art, and the ways in which esoteric traditions inform contemporary creativity. Her speaking engagements—at museums, cultural institutions, universities, and international festivals—invite audiences into a deeper dialogue about storytelling, symbolism, and humanity’s enduring search for meaning.

Across mediums, Hundley’s work seeks to bridge imagination and inquiry, cultivating shared experiences that honor the power of ritual, the vitality of creativity, and the universal human drive to connect with mystery.
