Get ready to dive deep into the mystical world of tarot cards and connect with your spiritual side at this enchanting evening of symbolism aLed by Allison, who has been reading Tarot since childhood, this gentle and beginner-friendly evening offers a journey through the timeless symbolism of the Rider–Waite deck, exploring how its imagery can open pathways to intuition and insight.
Your evening includes:
• A guided meditation to centre the spirit
• A glass of Seaside Pearl wine
• Your own personal Tarot deck to take home
• Light charcuterie and conversation in the warm glow of the Barrel Room
Evening Itinerary
Arrival & Welcome Tea (15–20 minutes)
Begin your evening with a cup of warm herbal tea — lavender, chamomile, or jasmine.
Take a moment to relax, meet others, and settle into the calm of the space.
You’ll find your Tarot deck and materials at your seat.
Grounding Meditation & Creating the Circle (20 minutes)
We’ll open with a guided meditation to center our energy and form a safe, sacred circle.
Together we’ll set intentions for our evening and honour the privacy of our shared experience.
Exploring the Tarot (40 minutes)
You’ll learn the foundations of the Rider–Waite Tarot:
- The structure of the deck
- The symbolism of the four suits
- The meaning of color, number, and imagery
We’ll draw a single card for reflection and journaling before moving into pair readings.
Reading in Pairs (60 minutes)
You’ll be paired with a partner — perhaps through a fun draw of names from the hat — to exchange simple three-card readings.
Take turns reading for each other, trusting your intuition and symbols more than memorized meanings.
After the first round, partners will switch or rotate to read for someone new.
A glass of Seaside Pearl wine will be offered during this portion to enjoy as conversation and insight begin to flow.
Group Reflection & Circle Reading (30 minutes)
We’ll gather together to interpret a few cards as a collective — discovering the evening’s shared message.
This is a chance to connect, share experiences, and celebrate the insight and energy of the group.
Closing Meditation (10–15 minutes)
A final guided meditation to close the circle and ground the energy.
Take a deep breath, offer gratitude, and leave with a calm heart and a clear mind.
You’ll also receive a small keepsake or affirmation to take home — a reminder of the night’s tranquillity.
