Part 1: Tarot 101: The Fool's Journey – An Introduction to the Major Arcana
Curious about tarot but not sure where to begin? Join us for an engaging and beginner-friendly introduction to the first 11 Major Arcana cards (cards 0-10), the archetypal heart of the tarot deck.
In this interactive workshop, participants will explore the Fool's Journey, a symbolic path of growth, challenge, transformation, and self-discovery represented through the Major Arcana.
We will also begin to discuss the 4 major suits in the Tarot (cups, swords, wands and pentacles); and their themes and symbolism.
We will learn to “read” the images and symbolism in the cards, work in pairs, and have active discussion about the cards. Whether you're interested in tarot as a tool for reflection, creativity, personal growth, or simply curiosity, this class will help you build a foundation for understanding and working with tarot.
Participants will leave with a greater understanding of the cards, practical reading experience, and increased confidence in interpreting tarot for themselves.
No prior experience is necessary.
