We'll begin our walk by meeting at Circular Quay and catching the ferry across Sydney Harbour to Taronga Zoo Wharf. From there we will walk to the Bradley's Head walking track where we will enjoy views of the harbour and Harbour Bridge. This track will take us by the Bradley's Head Amphitheatre and HMAS Sydney I memorial mast. Making our way along the other side of the head, we will enjoy glimpses of Taylor's Bay through the trees as we join the Taylor's Bay track to Chowder Beach. From here we will make our way to the George's Head Gunner's Barracks where we will be greeted with spectacular views of the entrance to Sydney Harbour and both North and South Head. From George's Head we will cut across Middle Head on the Headland Park walking track, enjoying the bush as we make our way to our swimming destination of Balmoral Beach.
At the beautiful Balmoral Beach, we'll spend some time eating lunch, enjoying the sun and for those interested, some swimming and beach games. The famed Wandersoc kayak will be making its triumphant return, so keep your eyes peeled!
After Balmoral, wanderers will have the option to head home or take on the slightly moderate section to the Spit Bridge. For those who stay, we will be passing by Edwards and Chinaman's Beach arriving at the Spit Reserve where our walk will come to an end.
