A poignant comedy-drama set in 1980’s to present day Lebanon against a backdrop of conflict and exile.Tells the story of Hala, who makes the heart-wrenching decision to leave her homeland; and Ibrahim, who chooses to stay despite the challenges.
Award-winning actress Marwa Khalil portrays Hala, as she embarks on a life journey around the world. Though she strives to build a new life in each place, her heart remains tied to her past; returning home full of hope, only to face disappointment each time.
Meanwhile, Ibrahim, played by beloved stand-up comedian and actor Junaid Zeineldine, stands firm in his commitment to his country, holding on despite the overwhelming odds.
How many opportunities can one give to the same dream? Life in Lebanon transcends its conflicts— it's an exploration of identity and their deep rooted love that weaves through it all.
