Tarago Village Fair

Make a day of it at the Tarago Showground.
The Tarago Village Fair is bringing together country competition, family fun, local entertainment, food and community for a full day at the showground on Saturday 28 November.
There’ll be plenty of action to watch throughout the day. See shearers go head-to-head in the Quick Shear, teams put their skills to the test in the Fencing Challenge, and some serious strength and local rivalry come out in the Tug-of-War. We’ll also have horse demonstrations and live music happening around the grounds.
For the kids, there’ll be games and activities throughout the day, including a fishing rod casting competition, with more family activities still to be announced.
The CWA Pavilion will be open, with the CWA Café serving from the blue van, and there’ll be food and drinks available throughout the day, including the bar.
But this isn’t a day you need to rush through.
Bring a picnic blanket, bring the family and find yourself a spot on the grass. Pack a picnic if you like, or grab something to eat on the day. Watch a competition, let the kids have a go at the activities, listen to the music, catch up with friends and settle in for the afternoon.
Whether you’re coming to compete, cheer on someone you know, watch some great country skills in action or simply enjoy a day out with the family, we’d love to see you there.
