The Tuatha Dé Danann are known to travel from the Otherworld to dwell among mortals, but what happens when 5 of their most powerful goddesses are thrust into the world as we know it? ‘TARA’ is an Irish dance and music production world premiering at Perth FRINGE WORLD in 2023. It combines an upbeat folk electronica soundtrack with contemporary dance rhythms, beats and choreography in a performance that tackles some of the most significant issues the modern world stands to face.
It celebrates female individuality and strength and displays how only in unity can we enact change and create good. Drawing inspiration from the theatrical pop girl band elements and modern musicality from 21st Century trad/electronica/folk the show creates a rhythmic renaissance you’ve never seen before.
