Tara O'Grady & her Black Velvet Band

Tara O'Grady is a singer-songwriter, recording artist, and author living in Beacon. She combines jazz, blues, funk, folk, swing and rockabilly, both recognizable classics along with originals. Tara can perform as a duo with a guitarist, or trio with an upright bassist, or as a quartet with an added horn (sax, clarinet or trumpet). Her CD releases include: Black Irish (2010), Good Things Come to Those Who Wait (2011), A Celt in the Cotton Club (2013), Irish Bayou (2015), and Folk Songs: Songs About Real Folks (2017).
