The show, titled Tapestry, celebrates the fabric of our Connecticut dance community. This performance includes the choreographic work of five university faculty members, two dance education program students, a consortium of university alumna, several professional dance companies, and performing arts high school guests. Besides celebrating the fabric of our community, Tapestry highlights the joy of dressing up to the nines and knocking its audience's socks off with breathtaking choreographic work.
Notable professional guest companies include:

• Ekklesia Contemporary Ballet is a professional dance company comprised of artist-theologians who aim to create spaces where art and faith can flourish.
• Island Reflections Dance Theatre is a dance company that centralizes educating the community about Caribbean Folk, Ballet, Modern Contemporary, African, and other world dance forms.
• Garet&Co is a professional contemporary dance company based in Northern CT that works to strengthen and celebrate the contemporary dance community in Connecticut.
