Tap Skills Lab

Join us for a focused Tap Skills Lab designed to help dancers refresh their fundamentals, strengthen technique, and build new skills before the start of MKC Project's Fall Season.

This workshop is open to all dancers and is especially geared toward junior and teen dancers (ages 10+) looking to brush up on tap after a summer without classes or add new skills to their training.

Classes will include rhthym exercises, technique drills, across-the-floor progressions, and combinations that focus on cleaner sounds, coordination, and musicality.

This is an opportunity for dancers to also receive more individual feedack.

IS THIS CLASS FOR ME?

• Junior and Teen dancers (recommended for ages 10+)
• Current MKC dancers preparing for Fall Season
• New dancers interesetd in exploring tap fundamentals.

WHAT TO WEAR

All hair fully secured away from the face. Form-fitting attire (leggings or pants must be tapered to see ankle) + bring refillable water bottle

Street parking typically is easy to find! Search up "Cinema Place Parking Garage" located on 22695 Foothill Blvd, Hayward, CA 94541

This garage is conveniently across from MKC Project, with just a 2-3 minute walk across the street as pictured above.

ENTRY INTO MKC PROJECT (MEET-UP & CHECK-IN)

Come through the gate of 1044 and follow the path, make a right by the trees/bushes, enter through the double doors on the left, and head up the stairs to get checked in!

No refunds. If you’re unable to attend after registering, email MKC Project to be considered for a credit toward a future pop-up or weekly class.
