TAP-NY September Dinner Series at Mokyo

Join TAP-NY board members Sarah (Marketing Chair) and Harrison (Social Chair) for a Korean/Spanish tapas dinner at Mokyo!

The TAP-NY dinner series is a great way to enjoy a good meal with a fun group of people, including two TAP board members, to learn more about our organization and what events we have coming up.

We are requiring that all attendees be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (i.e., 2 weeks after second dose in a 2-dose series or 2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine). We will check for proof of vaccination (, COVID-19 vaccination card, NYC COVID Safe App, , or photo of COVID-19 vaccination card) at the event and will refuse entry if you do not comply with this requirement.

About Sarah and Harrison

Sarah has spent most of her life in the Midwest but now can't imagine living anywhere else but NYC. Since moving here, she's been enjoying all the wonderful art the city has to offer, from small and large immersive theater productions to performances by dance companies from around the world. She has learned a lot about Taiwan from her dearest friends and has been excited to be a part of this vibrant community in NYC.

Harrison was born in Taipei and grew up in the suburbs of North Jersey. He loves to drink scotch/coffee, listen to EDM, and meet new people. Growing up with a competitive spirit, he enjoys playing sports and video games. Harrison hopes to help TAP members lead a more active lifestyle and build long-lasting friendships

Registering for the Event

Because of heavy demand for dinner series, we have a lottery process for dinner series sign-ups:

Sign-ups for the September dinner series will close Friday, September 10, 2021, at 11:59 pm ET, after which we’ll select people to attend. Replying to our selection email, should you receive it, is required to attend.

Note: While registration for the event is free, individuals are responsible for covering their own meal. TAP facilitates these dinners to help members get to know each other in an intimate setting.
