About this Event
April is National Volunteer Month, making it a great time to give back to our community. DC Central Kitchen uses food as a tool to strengthen bodies, empower minds, and build communities. Volunteers play an essential role in helping prepare nutritious meals that support shelters, schools, and community organizations across the District.
This is a great opportunity to connect with fellow TAP-DC members while making a tangible impact in the community we call home. Volunteers will be helping to prep food and help in the kitchen. No culinary experience is required, just come ready to help and have fun.
Spots are limited to keep the volunteer shift manageable, so please be sure to RSVP early. Additional volunteer instructions and waiver forms will be shared with confirmed attendees. DC Central Kitchen relies heavily on volunteers to serve the community effectively.
If you register for this event, please make every effort to attend. If you find out you are unable to come, please let us know (or cancel your registration) so that we can offer the space to someone else.
