In diesem Jahr entfaltet sich das Festival wie eine tektonische Landschaft – eine Choreografie des sich verlagernden Bodens, bei der jede Bewegung mit einer größeren Transformation zusammenhängt. So wie die Erdkruste sich biegt und atmet, übt auch Kunst Druck auf den Rand unseres Wissenshorizonts aus, sie öffnet Risse und schafft Raum für Neues.
Tanz im August, präsentiert von HAU Hebbel am Ufer, ist seit 1989 ein Festival für zeitgenössischen Tanz in Berlin.

We are happy to invite you to the 37th edition of Tanz im August!
This year’s festival unfolds like a tectonic landscape – a choreography of shifting ground, where every movement is part of a larger transformation. Just as the earth’s crust bends and breathes, art presses against the boundaries of what we know, opening fissures and creating space for the new.
Tanz im August, presented by HAU Hebbel am Ufer, is a festival of contemporary dance in Berlin since 1989.
