This is Tantric Latihan: Open Practice (weather permitting) will be hosted at the Vale of Cashmere in Prospect Park and will have a live sound scape created by Khotomeh! Keep an eye on your email, we will be seinding out an email the day before to confirm the location of the event, weather permitting! If it looks like rain, we will be hosting this at Youtopia DreamSpace.

Tantric Latihan: Open Practice is for folks who are already versed in the somatic language of this practice and would like to deepen their connection to their somatic body. Your practice will begin when you step into the container. To attend Tantric Latihan: Open Practice you must have attended a Tantric Latihan: Workshop or Liquid Love in the past. If you have attended a Latihan or Liquid Love with a different facilitator and you would like to join, please reach out to us.

More information about Tantric Latihan..Tantric Latihan is your body's native language, finally given room to speak. Imagine shedding the weight of "should" and "supposed to." This blindfolded practice is a raw, honest exploration where your body leads and your mind has the opportunity to take a much-needed break. Some people flow like water, others stand still as mountains, each following their own unfiltered expression surrounded by others doing the same. It's what happens when you strip away the thinking mind and let your deepest wisdom rise to the surface.

When you practice Tantric Latihan, you can discover what a real "yes" feels like in your bones. Those moments when your throat tightens but your mouth says "okay"? In this container, they become impossible to ignore. Your body becomes your most trusted advisor, guiding through intuition and sensations rather than second-guesses. Imagine feeling so grounded in your own truth that saying "no" feels as natural as breathing. The practice creates countless moments to test your edges - maybe it's choosing stillness while others move, or following an impulse to move when others are quiet. Each choice becomes a chance to strengthen your authentic voice. Those who've embraced this practice often find their inner compass grows stronger, rediscovering their body's wisdom that has been there all along, just waiting for space to be heard.

Latihan is an ancient Subud practice and in this context it has been re purposed for Tantra through a lineage that can be traced back through Osho and adapted by Laurie Handlers as practiced in ISTA.

This is not a workshop. It is a life practice we are sharing in a communal space. We hope you integrate experience into your daily lives. This practice was taught to me by Laurie Handlers.
