Day 1 Workshop: Fundamentals Sat 9th Nov 1.00 to 4.15pm, with 15 mins interval
Fundamentals is a comprehensive 3-hour tango dance workshop designed to guide you in the essential concepts, elements, and steps crucial for tango. The workshop is divided into two 90-minute sessions, starting with foundational techniques and the connection inside the couple. As the class progresses, the initial topics will gradually evolve into more sophisticated movements, ensuring a smooth and progressive learning experience. Perfect for beginners, intermediate and advanced. It is for anyone looking to refine their skills.
Day 2 Workshop: Musicality Sun 10th Nov 10.15am to 1.45pm, with 30 mins lunch break
Musicality is a three hours training divided into two 90-minute segments, designed to deepen your understanding of tango music, inspiring improvisation in your dance. We will explore the most influential orchestras, highlighting the unique qualities and eras of each, and how to dance to their distinct styles. Learn about musical phrases and the essence of each orchestra to create a unique dancing experience every time. Perfect for dancers of all levels, "Musicality" will enrich your connection to the music and enhance your improvisational skills at all levels
Practica Sat 9th Nov from 7pm
Polish new tango skills and moves at our social tango evening. This practica will be an informal social evening of tango dance. Make new friends or catch up with old friends. Light snack provided, BYO.
