Formed more than a decade ago by a group of college students in a shared apartment in Lubbock, Texas, the group Tango Llaneros began as a small idea fueled by curiosity and passion. From those humble beginnings, the ensemble has grown to perform across the United States and Canada, bringing both authentic Argentine tango and newly written tango compositions to dancers and audiences alike.

What truly sets Tango Llaneros apart is a deep commitment to education and outreach. Wherever we travel, we make it a priority to give back—offering free performances in school districts and public libraries. Through these experiences, we aim to spark curiosity, share the beauty of tango, and inspire the next generation of tango musicians and listeners.
