Understand Tango in just one immersive weekend.
This 8-hour Tango Kickstart is designed to help you quickly grasp the essential principles behind Argentine Tango: connection, posture, musicality, navigation, biomechanics, and the movement strategies that make improvisation possible.
Across Saturday and Sunday (3–7 PM), you’ll learn tango’s essential strategies—posture and embrace for connection, musical interpretation, floor navigation, and core tango templates (step compositions) that help you begin improvising with confidence.
Perfect for absolute beginners, those wanting to revisit their fundamentals, or dancers from other styles looking for an intelligent and accelerated introduction to Argentine Tango.
Expect plenty of guided practice, personalized corrections, and a welcoming social atmosphere where you can connect with fellow participants while building real confidence on the dance floor.
Led by Sergio Segura, director of Strictly Tango NYC, with over 20 years teaching Argentine Tango in NYC, integrating his Tango BioKinetics movement approach and NASM Certified Personal Trainer expertise to help you move with better awareness, efficiency, and confidence.
