Dear Tango Community We are privileged and honoured to welcome the World Champions of Tango de Pista 2021 - Barbara Ferreyra & Agustin Agnez.
Barbara & Agustin were crowned champions in 2021 in the category: Tango Salon (Tango de Pista) in the most prestigious Tango competition, Mundial de Tango, held in Buenos Aires, where each year hundreds of couples from all over the world compete for the title. They were awarded for their excellence in dancing Argentine Tango, which combines the elegance of walk, technique and musical interpretation of different orchestras.
They performed in countless Milongas in Buenos Aires and throughout Argentina holding Exhibitions and Workshops. They also debuted as Producers and Event Organizers , holding their First Festival "National Meeting of Argentine Tango" (PENTA TANGO FESTIVAL) in the Province of Córdoba-Argentina in 2022. Barbara & Agustin concluded their Last World Tour in Europe in July 2022 providing Tango Seminars and Performances and they are currently on their New Tour in Europe and UK.
BARBARA FERREYRA (from Argentina), the World Champion of Tango Pista 2021 Teacher and Professional Dancer of Tango and Argentine Folklore. Barbara has been dancing Tango for 20 years. She began her training at the age of 6 in Dancing and Acting. During her career she made countless Exhibitions in renowned Milongas, Festivals and Prestigious Tango Houses in Buenos Aires and throughout Argentina. Since 2011 she has been touring nationally and Internationally in Europe, Asia and South America. Barbara is a 10-time Finalist in the Tango World Cup. Champion in the 1st Tango Reality Show "TangoChamps".
AGUSTIN AGNEZ (from Argentina) the World Champion of Tango Pista 2021. Teacher and Professional Dancer of Argentine Tango. He started his career 28 years ago in Argentine Folk, Jazz , Contemporary dance and Ballet. Agustin worked in the most important shows and Casas de Tango in Buenos Aires. His international dance career began in the Tango Musical "Tanguera" where he had been working for 10 years in the most renowned theatres in Europe, Asia and America. He has been on the Jury of the preliminary rounds of the Tango World Cup and Metropolitan Championship of Buenos Aires. He created the Company "La Clandestina Tango Danza".

In May Barbara & Agustin will come to Ireland. It will be the first visit of the world champions to Dublin.
