We’re happy to announce that a new round of tango classes begins on Friday, Sept 12 at Huize Lydia — and you’re warmly invited.
There’s something new we’re really excited about: Alexandra Anisimova is joining the teaching team! She brings a beautiful blend of ballet technique, contemporary movement, and deep tango connection. Her presence and style add something fresh and inspiring to the classes.
She’s also introducing a new class: Tango Barre. It’s solo work using a ballet-style barre (yes, the actual barre!), and it’s great for posture, balance, musicality, and embellishments. In that class, followers train with Alexandra, and leaders work with Yerpun Castro, so everyone gets more focused attention.
Friday Schedule:
🕕 18:30 — Beginners
Posture, walking, embrace, pivots, musicality — all the essentials to get you started.
🕖 19:30 — Technique for All
Includes Tango Barre! Great for any level, especially if you want to work on body awareness, control, and styling.
🕗 20:30 — Intermediate/Advanced
This class is divided into 3 focused series:
Sept 12, 19, 26 — Tango: embrace, walking, musicality, sacadas, giros, boleos, and complex sequences
Oct 3, 10, 17 — Milonga: lisa, traspié, playful rhythms
Oct 24, 31 — Vals: circular movement, sacadas, flowing sequences
Prices:
€175 for one course
€115 for an extra course
€25 for a single class
