We’ve been gone for 1.5 years, but we’re back again!Join us in the first Tango Café of this year to work on getting back on the dancefloor. We’ve invited Jory Raimo & Lorena Miranda Serra, from the local dancing school Alma de Tango, to give a workshop and performance! As an extremely experienced couple and long time supporters of the young Delft community, there are no better maestros to help us get back into dancing.
Music will be brought to you by our house DJ Vincent.
Please note that there is a limited number of people allowed in the room. The maximum capacity for the workshop is 10 couples. The maximum for the milonga is 50 people.

Workshop theme: Back to Tango - Fundamentals and variations of rotations
During this workshop we will work on a variety of techniques that are essential for having good rotations while dancing. We will start with several exercises for the posture and embrace, followed by the technique for rotations of the upper body. Once we understand the technique for rotations, we will start applying them in various figures: from the basic ocho's to more complex variations.

Everyone, student or not, from the very advanced to the complete beginner, is welcome to come dance. If you would like to enjoy some drinks and food from our bar, you can either bring something to share or make a donation!

D.S.D.A. Blue Suede Shoes is a dance association by students for everyone passionate about dancing. One of our goals is to encourage new Argentine Tango dancers to start dancing socially. And where better than at our monthly Tango Café. We offer a warm atmosphere and a nice dance floor at a slightly underground location for a great evening.
