Set against the colorful backdrop of a giant storybook, Tanglewood Marionette's Sleeping Beauty is based on the classic fairytale. In this retelling, a painted story book opens to reveal each scene. Beautifully hand-crafted marionettes are brought to life by a master puppeteer as the dramatic events unfold.
Filled with surprises, Tanglewood's Sleeping Beauty is a treat for all ages, but especially appropriate for ages K - 2.
There will be a puppetry demonstration prior to the show, and an informal question and answer session following the performance.
