Due to illness, we are postponing this event until May 28th! That will give you more time to invite friends and family. You will be blown away by Tamer's talent!
Tamer Edlebi joined the FWSO as assistant principal oboe during the 2018/2019 season. He has also made guest appearances with the Houston Symphony, New York Philharmonic, Houston Grand Opera, and most recently as guest principal oboe with the Cleveland Orchestra.
His love of chamber music led him to becoming a founding member of the Prismatics Woodwind Quintet, prizewinners of the 2015 Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition. In 2017, Tamer was named a Zarin Mehta Fellow through the New York Philharmonic Global Academy partnership with Rice University.
You will not want to miss this unbelievably talented player. This concert is being offered free of charge as part of the Wedgwood Arts Series, however, donations are always appreciated. All proceeds go directly to help scholarship middle and high school musicians and artists through private lessons and/or performance opportunities.
