The Tamburitzans 16th Annual Swing 'Fore' Scholarships Charity Golf Outing!
This year, by popular request from many of our golfers, the Shotgun Scramble will be at 10:00am with catered breakfast starting at 8:30 during registration. We will again feature our famous Cevapi at the Turn, Slivo Hole, fun games and prizes and a festive finish with live music, cocktails and lunch at the awards ceremony.
The trendy and private 1781 Club is in Peters Township, PA, about 15 miles south of Pittsburgh. The 1781 Club yields a challenging par 72, 18-hole track, measuring 6,319 yards from the tips. This 130 acre parkland style course boasts rolling fairways and fast greens. The 1781 Club features farm to table dining, craft bar cocktails, indoor driving range facilities, and a picnic pavilion.
When you golf with us, you are not only working on your swing - you are genuinely providing much needed funds in support of the arts and our Tamburitzan ensemble. The goal of $40,000 goes along way toward providing the Scholarships we distribute annually to our non-Duquesne University affiliated students, allowing them to perform across the country while earning funds toward their education.
In return for your generosity, we have planned a great day of golf and camaraderie which includes:
- 18 holes of golf
- 8:30am registration, breakfast, and indoor driving range
- 10:00am Shotgun start
- Refreshments on the course
- Cevapi snack at the Turn
- Skill prizes and games of chance
- Cocktails and Lunch Buffet with Dessert
- Live music and awards ceremony
