These times call for simplicity and peeling back the layers to our core values and an appreciation of our shared humanity. Allow the world to drop away and experience kindred connection.Tamarack Lake is an awe-inspiring setting in Desolation Wilderness that boasts a unique combination of a secluded alpine lake and expansive granite-covered vistas, overlooking Echo Lakes. Let Awe-Ventures guide you on this beginner/ intermediate 1-night, 2-day backpacking trip, where we’ll hike approximately 3.7 miles from the trailhead, gaining almost 900 ft. in elevation to our destination.
Our evening circle activity includes a guided meditation practice that brings us through a portal from our busy lives to settling into an environment that envelopes a mindful pace. Wake to a dreamy landscape and imagine having options of morning yoga in the mountain’s amphitheater or an exploratory hike to nearby lakes or even a trek up to renowned Lake Aloha. We can decide on our itinerary as a group, together.
When women have the opportunity to be authentic, welcoming and encouraging towards each other, magic happens!
The group is limited to only 6 adventurous women willing to explore and inspire each other.
$195 pp – includes permits, 1 guide, 1 meditation leader, route-finding and logistics planning.
