About this Event
Join Pacific Northwest authors Tamara Kaye Sellman and Clay Vermulm as they share twelve horror stories inspired by settings in Washington State!
Tamara Kaye Sellman and Clay Vermulm have collected twelve horror stories inspired by settings in Washington state that feature various horror tropes and regional quirks. From mythological and fantastical themes to psychological and supernatural horror, this collection holds something for dark fiction fans of every stripe and subgenre.
Tamara Kaye Sellman (Kingston, WA) is an award-winning author, indie filmmaker, and poet, with four Pushcart Prize nominations and other literary accolades. She is the second half of the Beneath the Rain Shadow podcast with Clay Vermulm. Sellman is a retired developmental editor and founder of Margin: Exploring Modern Magical Realism, now in archives. An avid gardener, she also knows how to throw an axe, though not very well.
Clay Vermulm (Sequim, WA) is a Montana-born, Washington-based author and filmmaker of horror and contemporary dark narrative. Vermulm is program coordinator for the Seattle chapter of the HWA and edits the annual Seattle Crypticon contest anthology. He also hosts two podcasts: Fermented Fiction and Beneath the Rain Shadow. When not writing, he enjoys hiking, climbing, surfing, and gaming with his wife and cat.
