Tallship Evening Sail on the Detroit River

6-8:30 p.m.
Join us as we sail the Detroit River on a tall ship! The schooner is here in Detroit as part of a unique, educational partnership with the University of Michigan – Detroit River Story Lab, Inland Seas Education Association, the Michigan DNR Outdoor Adventure Center, and Milliken State Park. We will enjoy a two-hour sail on the Detroit River. The crew from the schooner will bring the sailing experience to life, and the Outdoor Adventure Center team will share stories about the river's past and present!
Snacks and beverages will be provided - no outside food or beverages are permitted.
The captain encourages guests to wear comfortable, flat-bottomed shoes and to avoid high heels as well as sandals without a heel strap. It tends to be a little cooler out on the water than on land, so depending on the weather, guests may wish to layer accordingly.
This is a 21 and older event; please provide ID at event check-in.
This event is subject to cancellation if minimum attendance is not met.
Preregistration required. $40 per person.
