**TALLOWEEN 17** is here!Welcome to this year's event page for the longest running Alley Cat bike race in Florida and the Southeast! This year, Tallahassee Bicycle Polo is hosting the traditional Talloween Alley Cat race followed by a two-day bike polo shuffle tournament.
WEEKEND SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
FRI OCT 28: Alley Cat Race (6pm - 9pm + after party at The Bark!)
SAT OCT 29: Day 1 Bike Polo Shuffle Tournament (10am-6pm)
SUN OCT 30: Day 2 Bike Polo Shuffle Tournament (10am- 6pm)
? ALLEY CAT BIKE RACE DETAILS ?
• STARTING LINE • Race will begin at the dirt lot across from Oyster City Brewing Company located at 650 W Gaines Street. This is near the intersection of Gaines St. and Railroad Ave.
• REGISTRATION • Opens at 6pm. Running late? We will stick around to register any last minute riders.
• TIME • Race begins no earlier than 7:30pm.
• COST • Please bring $15 cash to register. Venmo also accepted. Bike, helmet, and lights are also required to ride.
• FUN!!! • Costumes are encouraged! Participation is encouraged by riders of all abilities and experience levels. Whether you’re riding to win a trophy or just to have fun with your friends, Talloween is for everyone!
• ABOUT • New to Talloween? Here’s what you can expect! An Alley Cat race entails visiting multiple stops over the course of a 1-2 hour period. You will be given a Manifest (map) with various checkpoints. Choose your own adventure and visit checkpoints at local businesses, homes, and locations around town to complete a fun activity and receive a stamp on your Manifest. Once you have visited all the stops (or as many as you want) bike to the finish line and join the party! Note: If you are riding to place in the race, visiting all stops on the Manifesto before the allotted time runs out is required!
• FINISH LINE • The Bark will host the finish line and trophy ceremony. Stick around for the after party to celebrate this annual Tallahassee tradition!
