Tallahassee Dunkin’ Celebrates Next Generation Restaurant Grand Opening

On Friday, October 28th, Dunkin’ will host a grand opening celebration at its newest Next Generation restaurant in Tallahassee located at 2320 Capital Circle. Starting at 5 a.m.., the first 150 guests will get to spin the Dunkin’ prize wheel with the chance to win prizes, including Dunkin’ gift cards ranging from $5 to $500, a free donut, breakfast sandwich or beverage. Every guest will also receive a raffle ticket for the chance to win a Dunkin’ branded gift basket.

At 12 p.m., Dunkin’ franchisee network Rajan Partners will host a ribbon cutting ceremony with community members to celebrate the new store opening. Following the ribbon cutting ceremony, Rajan Partners, alongside the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation, will host a check presentation to donate $11,300 to Be Gold Go Gold to support families experiencing childhood cancer. Funds from the grant stem from Rajan Partners’ in-store fundraiser supporting Childhood Cancer Awareness Month where guests were invited to donate at the register at the network’s 10 participating Dunkin’ locations. Locally, Be Gold Go Gold will use the funds to support the Hang Tough Foundation and further its mission to build community and engage with families through meaningful experiences during their journey with childhood illness and special needs.

Later that evening from 5 P.M. – 8 P.M., the store will host guests for DIY Donut decorating and host a Trunk or Treat Halloween Party.

The new 2,000 square-foot restaurant can seat 18 guests inside and will employ 25 crew members. With Dunkin’s new restaurant design, the store features a modern atmosphere and innovative technologies, including:

• A Modern Design: The openness, colors, and materials used in the design help create an approachable, positive, and energetic environment. Just one example of the eye-catching design elements that guests can expect is a front-facing bakery case for an even closer look at our delicious baked goods.

• Premium Pours: Dunkin’s signature cold beverages are poured through an innovative tap system, serving a variety of consistently cold sips, such as iced coffee, iced tea, Cold Brew, and Nitro-Infused Cold Brew (a Next Gen exclusive!). Crew members also use top-quality, flavor-maximizing espresso machines to make handcrafted drinks to order.

• Increased Energy Efficiency: Next Gen restaurants are designed to meet DD Green Achievement™ specifications. Stores that achieve DD Green Achievement status are built with sustainable and efficient elements like LED lighting, high-efficiency mechanical equipment, low-flow faucets, and more. DD Green Achievement restaurants are performing better than designed. On average, they are 33% more energy efficient compared to conventional Dunkin' restaurants.

Including the new Tallahassee restaurant, Dunkin’ franchisee network Rajan Partners currently owns and operates 24 Dunkin’ locations throughout Florida.
