Like a muppet poking fun at the world, Tall Mark crafts songs of playful composition and finely-honed observational humour. Simultaneously fusing satire with compassion, this bard-jester’s autobiographical bouquet squirts honest storytelling, meaningful insight, and slick wit. Does not involve any bananas. Contains one swear word!
Tall Mark’s original bard-jester act has graced prominent festivals like Mariposa Folk 2022, Islands Folk 2023, and Filberg 2024. He served as main stage emcee at Quadrapalooza 2023 and song circle leader at Woodstove Festival in both 2023 and 2024. A recipient of grant funding from FACTOR and Creative BC for his work in organizing and inspiring music community, Tall Mark’s dynamic presence extends beyond traditional musicianship, creating a lively and connective experience for audiences. He can also wiggle each ear individually.
