Join two-time Emmy nominated filmmaker Andrew Buckley as he shares his story of discovery, retracing the American journeys of his ancestor Stephen Hopkins. Hear this remarkable story unfold the evening of April 13 at Jamestown Settlement, and discover Hopkins's connection to William Shakespeare, as Buckley shares excerpts from his documentary film “Stephano,” which retraces Hopkins’ journeys to America.
Awarded two grants from the Massachusetts Foundation for the Humanities and over 70 Massachusetts Cultural Council Grants for communities across the Commonwealth, Buckley is a historical novelist, travel book author, merchant mariner, opinion journalist and world-class storyteller.
