This time, we have palaeontology PhD student Jessica Bela McCoy, who will be discussing the Black Death and the link to fossils.In the 14th and 17th centuries, mankind battled against a killer so brutal, scribes described it as a divine punishment from God Himself, for the transgressions of humanity. Join us for an evening of blood and guts, as we talk about The Black Death, where it came from, who it may have come from, the magnitude of which it wrecked medieval Europe’s population, and how fossils are the key to unlocking the answers, which would otherwise have been lost to time.
