Therese Dolan and Lynn Miller will speak on their compelling book, Salut! France Meets Philadelphia and the influences of France on the distinctive city we know today. Dolan and Miller describe the many French influences on the distinctive city we know and its three-centuries-long relationship of history, art, architecture, culture, and cuisine. Learn about France's influence during colonial and revolutionary times, the inspiration of the Champs-Élysées in the design of the Ben Franklin Parkway, the great artworks in Philadelphia's museums, and Le Bec-Fin chef Georges Perrier. A book signing will follow. Books will be available for purchase.
