This week at the Lake Harriet Bandshell we are hosting Talk of the Town Orchestra. The talk of the town orchestra is a swinging big band with trumpets and saxes and trombones and rhythm section and a female vocalist. Great music for dancing and listening. Since 1892, Music in the Parks has provided residents and families opportunities to gather and enjoy local music throughout the summer. Since its inception thousands of free concerts have taken place. Concerts are weekly and vary from classic rock, hip hop, international, funk and many more genres of music.
