Talk of the Ton: Regency Era Gala

DEAREST GENTLE READER,

The social season is upon us. This author finds herself compelled to share the most exciting news. The Ton are abuzz with the latest gossip, and so it is my honor to impart it to you. This author has been reliably informed that the diamond of the season will be announced at the upcoming Regency Era Ball. With a change of guard upon us, it promises to be the most splendid social gathering of the season. The immersive soiree will see you nosh and nibble with esteemed members of the Ton as you partake in an evening of music, mingling, and perhaps other less-refined gossip activities.

Dance in the ballroom, grab a drink, and make your way to the silent auction to see goods that can only be had by the most generous of benefactors. Patience, after all, is a virtue. Have no fear, gentle reader. Yours truly shall attend and every transgression will be diligently recorded.

It’s said Lord Davison, the Capitol Event King, will be packing his soapbox. This author expects him to make an emotional acceptance speech that reflects his aspirations to the new court. Always a boss, but never bossy, it’s predicted Miss Bauders will soon broaden her leadership. Never hasty, her brilliant mind will surely serve the court. Miss Goff, the most magnificent of mermaids, has never floundered. We know this siren will support us all as we keep swimming upstream. His eye for detail serves more than PremiumShotz, Mr. Samonte is sure to be there keeping everyone sharp and in focus. The Mr. Sacramento rejoins the season, full of leadership experience. Surely, Dougherty, the purple prince will dance the night away. I do believe that the Margaritaville Maven, Miss Dempsey, is going to maneuver this social season with her usual elegance and ease. Miss Cava will now join us from a chapter afar, surely she’s ready to sparkle in the Sierra’s. These days, Miss Harris, the puzzle wiz is up for new bold challenges as she changes roles to reflect finance first. Lastly, Miss Najera, full of mischief and strategy, is the Emerald catch from the bay. We could not be more excited for her arrival! Because while you might not be able to spot me in the crowd, I shall most definitely keep an eye on you.
