Talk, Listen, Change: Learning Disability Awareness Training

Learning covered will include:

• An understanding of what a learning disability is

• The health inequalities faced by people who have a learning disability

• How to support health needs of a person who has a learning disability, including communication and reasonable adjustments

• The importance of annual health checks

• The role of Specialist Healthcare Service for People who have a learning disability (SHCT) and the teams available for support.
