Ciarán De Buitléar, author and wildlife gardener, will talk about his book Nature's Acre and give tips on gardening for wildlife.About this Event
Join us at the Cabra Biodiversity Festival for a talk about gardening for wildlife of Nature's Acre by gardener Ciarán De Buitléar.
The book is a true story about a small Irish garden, mental health, and learning to live with wildlife instead of against it. A wildlife-garden diary, community story and account of holding a nervous system together with soil under the fingernails.
Ciarán will talk about his story behind the book, and give tips on wildlife gardening.
Ciarán is very active on social media, and you can follow his work on @gardeningwell on Instagram.
Attendees will get the chance to get a free bird-box, bee-box or native wildflower seeds! First come first served.
This talk will be followed by a screening of films about nature in Cabra which can be booked separately.
