Connect with nature through this artist and Ranger led workshop with a collaborative and hands-on approach. Inspired by Talismans for Connection on the Sculpture Trail.
Learn about wild clays and native seeds and how we can combine these materials to create nourishing seed balls that will be taken home for you to plant. We will be using press-moulds to sculpt the seed balls into talismans with relation to the creatures and plants of our local environment as offerings to the earth.
The Ku-ring-gai Wildflower Garden is one of Sydney's best kept secrets, set across 123 hectares of unique urban bushland and home to two endangered ecological communities as well as 18 threatened species of flora and fauna. The Wildflower Garden is open to the public all year round and has a range of hikes, step-free walking tracks, picnic areas and heritage venue hire as well as a diverse calendar of environmental education programs.
