Once upon a time there was a very bad king. He stole from his subjects, laid waste to the land, told outrageous lies, declared war on his neighbours, and always got his own way... Except he didn’t.
Join performance storyteller Merl Fluin and friends for a night of weird and wonderful fairy tales. Together we’ll defeat bad kings, join forces with wily underdogs, bring dead hope back to life, and learn how to be the magical heroes the world needs today.
Doors open 6.30pm
Live music from 7pm
Storytelling begins 7.50pm
Stories suitable for ages 15+. Under-18s must be accompanied by a parent or other adult family member
Tea, coffee and herbal teas provided. You’re welcome to BYOB (non-alcoholic only please!) and vegetarian snacks for the evening.
All proceeds from this event will be donated to Southampton Buddhist Centre, registered charity no. 1059688. Please add an extra donation on top of your ticket if you can – your generosity keeps us going.
