A free storytelling masterclass with ERIC NGALLE CHARLES, for people of all ages from 8 upwards!Presented by African Community Centre Wales in partnership with Volcano.
Under 16s should be accompanied by an adult.
Focusing on the power of folklore and mythology in storytelling, framed around the oratory of African griots – traditional storytellers, bards, and walking history books who acted as the transmitters of myth, knowledge and wisdom across their cultures – award-winning Cameroonian writer, poet, playwright and performer Eric Ngalle Charles will lead this unique masterclass for anyone interested in telling stories. Suitable for all ability levels.
Participants will be guided in to write their stories using different prompts, enhancing their storytelling abilities and igniting their passion for writing.
There are two sessions on consecutive days. You may attend either or both.
