Join us at About Time Bookstore as we come together to honor, celebrate, and support those impacted by breast cancer. On November 7th, 10% of all proceeds from the day will be donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation—helping fund vital research and care.Enjoy a day filled with meaningful activities and community connection:
💕 Blind Date with a Book – Pink Edition: Wrapped in pink paper, each mystery book features stories of strong women.
🌸 Honor Wall: Write the name of someone you love who has faced breast cancer—whether a survivor, fighter, or in memory.
📚 DIY Bookmark Station: Get creative and design your own pink bookmark throughout the day.
🎀 Pink Book Display: Browse a curated table of “all things pink” across genres.
🍪 Pink Drinks & Sweets: Stop by during Libertyville First Friday (5-9PM) for themed treats and drinks.
🎟️ Raffle for a Cause: Support the fundraiser by purchasing raffle tickets starting November 1—even if you can’t make it into the store on November 7!
$10 = 1 Ticket
$50 = 6 Tickets
Prizes include gift certificates to local restaurants, merchandise from Libertyville businesses, bookstore goodies, and even a few surprise books. Winners will be drawn after the event.
