Juneau Community Bands presents our Oktoberfest Concert, an evening of music with Taku Winds, a little Brahms and lots of polkas, conducted by Alan Young. Enjoy some dancing, food and drinks along with the music. Juneau's alphorn quartet will provide music during intermission.A food plate, brats, sauerkraut, mashed potatoes, German chocolate cake and pretzel, is available for purchase. The dinner plate will be served from 6 - 6:30pm. Beer and soft drinks will be available for purchase. Cake and pretzel will be served at intermission. Food and drink is provided by TK Maguire's.
Proceeds from the food sales will help fund the scholarship to be given to our Youth Concerto Competition winner. Thank you for your generosity in helping support the music education of Juneau's talented high school students.
The concert starts at 7pm. The doors will open at 6pm for the food service.
