Alternative Gifts of Greater Washington is thrilled to announce that the Alternative Gift Fair will be returning to Takoma Park (310 Tulip Avenue) on Saturday, December 7th, 2024 from 12-4 pm! Celebrate with family and friends at this in-person holiday festival as you listen to live music, have a treat from our bake sale, play our raffle, or enjoy live music! Bring your children. They’ll learn firsthand how nonprofits make a difference and explore ways they can get involved.
Your chosen nonprofit receives 100% of the donations and those funds are specifically earmarked by the charities for tangible needs. Sample gifts include a week’s worth of fresh local veggies for a hungry family, or a used bicycle to help a student stay in school and graduate. This year's gifts are priced from about $10 to $100.
