Have you been attending Edinbop's level 1 Lindy Hop lessons for a while? Are you keen to take the leap into level 2? Need a refresher after the summer break? This workshop is for you!
Teachers Rob and Ellen will be guiding you through the core moves and concepts of Lindy Hop that will help you feel confident attending Edinbop's level 2 lessons.
The workshop will be split into three parts, across 4 hours of teaching: 1) a refresher of core moves you'll already know (but might have forgotten over the summer!); 2) nitty-gritty details of key concepts and mechanics of the dance; 3) bringing it all together. Along the way there will be plenty of music to practise to.
This workshop is for anyone who's been attending Edinbop's level 1 classes for a while and is keen to move up to level 2. You might be anxious, wondering whether you'll know enough to dance at a higher level - or perhaps you just want a quick reminder of the basics after the summer break. Dancers who are already in level 2, but want to brush up on fundamentals, are also welcome to attend.
Join us on the 30th August for this booster workshop - just in time for classes restarting on the 3rd September.
