About this Event
Please note that this event will start with networking at 7:15 am followed by the presentation at 8:00 am.
Every manufacturer knows that the supply chain has been a mess since 2020. It has definitely rebounded in some areas, but has not in others. Things are workable now, but how do you make sure you don’t have more problems going forward, or if another widespread interruption takes place? You never know what is right around the corner.
In this event, we will hear from Paul McCain, owner of Diode Dynamics on his approach to taking control of his supply chain. Paul will share his experience on strategies being used by US firms and how to approach options. Paul will also share his experience on strategies being taken by overseas vendors.
You won’t want to miss the next event!
If you are unable to make it in-person, we will be streaming via LinkedIn Live. Please check back here for the link to the live stream the day of the event!
Speaker: Paul McCain
Paul McCain is all about cars. Like many car guys, it first started for him in the garage at the age of 16. Paul grew his passion and in 2006 started Diode Dynamics.
Diode Dynamics started off importing LEDs, relying on designs from overseas. As they grew, product quality became a real issue. One thing became clear… if they wanted the best quality and function possible, they would have to build products themselves.
In 2014, Diode Dynamics moved to a larger facility, hired their first engineers, and began to design and manufacture products in America. They started with one product and quickly expanded into additional product lines, making heavy investments to add unique capabilities that would allow them to produce the best lighting products possible.
Today, Diode Dynamics is the largest specialty-application aftermarket lighting manufacturer in the United States. They also produce LED components for some great vehicle brands you know.
Paul graduated from Truman State University with a B.S. in Economics, Finance, where he was the Chapter President for the Delta Sigma Pi, Iota Nu Chapter. Paul’s fraternity was recognized nationally for chapter excellence and a record 10 times winner of Outstanding Chapter of the Year. Paul was also the Vice President of Finance for the Sigma Phi Epsilon, Missouri Mu Chapter.
