Taking Back Pride presents: Karaoke & Dance Party fundraiser

Join us Saturday May 30th at Lucy Parsons Center 7 pm for some Karaoke and dancing to help raise funds for this years protest March!
About this Event

Taking Back Pride is a response to the corporatization of Pride and the refusal of TC Pride to listen to community demands to remove cops from an explicitly anti-cop event. Stonewall was a protest against police brutality led by Black trans people.

As queer and trans community members continue to be targets of ongoing police violence, it is an insult to the legacy of Pride and to those who continue to be harmed by police violence to prioritize the comfort of cops and corporations at the expense of the community.

This march is explicitly anti-cop and anti-corporate. We are Black-led, trans-led and Left-led.
