TAKE-YOUR-MOM-HIKING: Mother's Day Art Hike

For this event, our activities will be centered around honoring moms or motherly figures in your life. Celebrate your mom and bring her to the woods on a rmeaningful art hike.

Come enjoy forest bathing and an art meditation in your Charlotte backyard! For this adventure - we are headed to McDowell Nature Preserve. Libba Moore will be leading a forest bathing portion along the hike and Ida Mae will led us through art meditation that folks document in their nature journal.

WHAT TO BRING/EXPECT:

• An hour long guided hike.
• Bring a journal and writing, drawing materials (we will have some too).
• Flat, mostly smooth, trail (very little elevation gain and some roots)
• Forest bathing mediation activities
• At the end of the hike, Ida Mae will lead an art class related to our forest bathing meditation! Bring your creative spirit, good vibes, and a water bottle!
