Take Your Child to the Library Day is the 1st Saturday in February and a special day across the world to celebrate libraries with free, fun activities for families. Sign up for a Library Card, and explore your favorite library branch or visit a new one!This year's magic includes:
Fun activities promoting Early Literacy including storytime and crafts for families to enjoy together.
Celebrate the legacy of our first Youth Service Outreach Coordinator Pat Smith, in the form of the Pat Smith Memorial Play Collection with great intergenerational play sets at each library branch!
Each library will host different events. Call your favorite library to learn more!
At Eureka Main Library, we will be having a special storytime with Shoshanna at 11:30 a.m. and a Ribbon Cutting / Launch of our new Community Storytime Leader Project at 1pm. Join the launch of a new early literacy initiative celebrating diverse, inclusive books in our public library system and making it fun and easy to be a Storytime Leader! Photo is right at 1pm.
